JudgesA key part of the BPF is the adjudication of the produced plays. Each year, awards are given for the three best productions and the three best scripts. The winning is script is presented with the Carol Weinberg Award, in memory of the late Carol Weinberg, a writing professor at Goucher and a submitting playwright in the BPF for many years. The judging panel consists of approximately 10 judges from a wide spectrum of the Baltimore theater community. Judges in the past have academicians in theater and playwriting, professional actors and playwrights, and theater executives. The efforts of our judges frequently go unheralded, and we would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication to the Baltimore playwright community. |
